QMed Equipment Sales
For over 20 years, QMed has manufactured state-of-the-art, medical equipment for physicians' offices, medical facilities and hospitals. As with our disease management programs, our focus is always on prevention. We have developed interpretive devices with patented technology that have been independently validated. These devices enable physicians to effectively provide a high level of patient care within their office.
Monitor One nDx® - Diabetic Neuropathy Detector

Diabetics are at an increased risk for heart disease and sudden death. In fact, 80% of diabetics die from heart disease. Due to nerve damage, many diabetics do not feel chest pain and other symptoms that normally alert a physician to do further testing.

Monitor One nDx simply and accurately measures Heart Rate Variability (R-R variation), the key indicator of cardiovascular disease in diabetics. This simple, painless and highly sensitive test can be done in a physician's office within 5 minutes and is an early indicator of cardiac complications.
Monitor One nDx utilizes 3 accepted standards approved by the American Diabetes Association:
- Paced Breathing | R-R Variation
- Posture
- Valsalva
Within minutes, a fully interpreted report indicates whether or not the patient is at risk for cardiac complications. If the results determine that the patient is at risk, they may benefit from QMed's Monitor One TC Omni ambulatory monitoring for a further cardiac work-up.
Patients that would benefit from Monitor One nDx are patients with:
- Diabetes
- Parkinson's Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Cardiovascular risk | CHF, syncope, sudden death
- High risk for anesthesia
The Monitor One nDx is reimbursable and can be purchased or leased. For more information, please Contact Us at 732.544.5544 or email us at solutions@qmedinc.com.
R-R Variation is a simple, noninvasive, reproducible test with clinical utility that may improve the outcome of patients with diabetes.1
Measuring R-R variation may provide a means to identify those patients at risk for asymptomatic ischemia and infarction so that interventions may be initiated before a cardiac event.1
Monitor One® TC Omni Series - Ambultatory Cardiac Monitor

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is the leading cause of death and hospitalization in the United States. Silent ischemia is a critical indicator of which patients are at risk for a cardiac event. QMed's Monitor One TC Omni ambulatory monitors are the only clinically validated, fully automated, ambulatory ECGs on the market, able to detect and analyze ischemic ECG changes of patients with CAD. Our sophisticated, patented technology aids physicians in optimizing medical therapy and reducing ischemia thereby reducing the morbidity from CAD.

While the physician provides a tremendous additional service to the patient, very little time is required of the physician or the office staff, and patients receive optimum treatment for their heart. This reimbursable test is simple for patients and physician staff to use and generates a fully interpreted report for the physician within minutes.
Our reports provide valuable information about the CAD patient to help primary care physicians effectively practice preventive strategies. These were the first digital ischemia monitors, and have become the industry reference standard, utilized in many drug trials.
Patients will receive educational materials about the monitoring and will learn important information about lifestyle changes they can make to improve their health. Included in these materials are helpful tips the patient may use to control high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, and their diet.
At QMed, we welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how Monitor One TC Omni can benefit your practice and your CAD patients.
