QMedCare, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of QMed, Inc. This organization acts as a holding company that will operate a series of specialty Managed Care products serving a high-risk population of Medicare beneficiaries. QMedCare, Inc. leverages the considerable Disease Management capabilities of the parent company, QMed, Inc., in managing medical risk within a Medicare population.
QMedCare, Inc. operates a Medicare Advantage Coordinated Care Plan in four counties in New Jersey for Medicare beneficiaries who suffer from coronary disease, stroke, heart failure, and diabetes. Historically, results have shown that patients enrolled in programs such as QMedCare have a much-improved daily living experience, fewer disease complications as well as less hospitalization and emergency room visits.
